GUJRANWALA: The training jet of Pak Army Aviation crashed near Gujranwala due to technical problem while both pilots embraced martyrdom in the unfortunate crash incident.
As per ISPR, the training aircraft was on routine training session when crashed near Gujranwala due to some technical problem and the pilots flying the jet died on the spot.
The martyred pilots were identified as Major Azhar and Captain Hassan. Major Azhar was instructor pilot while Captain Mushtaq was trainee pilot.
Gujrat DPO Ray Zameer said that the trainer aircraft of Army Aviation crashed near Chanab Pul due to technical problem.
President Mamnoon Hussain and PM Nawaz Sharif expressed their grief over the death of pilots and offered condolence with the bereaved families.
