LAHORE: China’s EXIM bank has given approval of loan for the completion of Orange Line Metro Train project here at Tuesday. The Chinese bank will provide Rs. 162 billion for the completion of project.
As per details, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif expressed his pleasure over the loan sanction from EXIM bank and tweet that it is an important day of his life. Punjab government also has confirmed that EXIM bank will provide Rs. 162 billion for Orange Line Project.
Shahbaz Sharif added in his tweet message that the announcement of loan by EXIM bank is an expression of confidence on the transparency of Punjab government.
Punjab government spokesperson Zaeem Qadri confirmed the issuance of loan by Chinese bank and said that it is a clear proof of deep love of China with Pakistan. The repayment of the loan will continue during the construction of project.
Zaeem Qadri further stated that the issuance of loan could be affected due to the protest of opposition parties but EXIM bank expressed its confidence on the credibility of Punjab government and sanctioned Rs. 162 billion loan.
