RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif presided Corps Commander Conference here at GHQ, Rawalpindi. Affairs related to defense and war against terrorism were discussed in the meeting.
As per ISPR statement, the Corps Commander meeting reviewed the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism while internal and external security situation also came under discussion.
ISPR added that the meeting also reviewed the measures for rehabilitation of TDPs in their native areas. The Corps Commander Conference expressed satisfaction over the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Army Chief also lauded the successes of armed forces in elimination of terrorism and restoring peace in Karachi.
