QUETTA: Anti-Terrorist Court ATC has acquitted former president and Army Chief General Pervaiz Musharraf, Aftab Sherpao and Shoiab Nowsherwani in Akbar Bugti murder case.
As per details, the murder case was heard by ATC Judge Muhammad Jan Gohar. Akbar Bugti murder case was under hearing over three years. ATC acquitted all accused due to absence of evidence in Akbar Bugti murder case.
Jamil Bugti’s counselor was addressing the media after the court verdict. He expressed his reservation on court verdict and said that he used to come in court at every hearing but the accused did not present before court even for a single hearing.
He added that we did not expect such decision from court. However, he respect the courts and admire court’s verdict.
On the other hand, Aftab Sherpao said that he was innocent in this case that’s why he has been acquitted by court.
