CPEC: Pakistan – China discuss progress on energy projects

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese delegation led by Vice Administrator of Chinese National Energy Administration Li Fanrong called on Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they reviewed progress of energy projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety and security of Chinese workers working on different CPEC projects.

The Vice Administrator of NEA said that China and Pakistan have cordial relations and both countries have assisted each other in difficult times.

He said our aim is to complete all the energy projects in their given time frame to benefit Pakistani people by fulfilling their electricity needs.
