KABUL – At least three policemen were killed in infighting in southeastern Paktika province on Sunday evening, a source told TOLOnews.
In addition, 20 other policemen were wounded in the clash.
The incident happened in Sharana, the capital of the province, after a clash broke out between two police commanders, the source said.
“At first an argument started between a security police commander of PD1 and a commander of a unit then both pulled out their guns.”
However, the source did not provide further details.
The local officials have not yet commented over the clash.
