KARACHI – Police have on Friday arrested a watchman of a school inKarachi’s Ibrahim Hyderi area after he was beaten up by the family of aminor girl for alleged allegations of sexual assault.

As per details, the family of a minor girl beat up the gatekeeper of aprivate school and handed him over to the police.

After being informed, police and Rangers reached the school and took thesituation under control. The law-enforcement agencies took the gatekeeperin custody.

Talking to media, SSP Rao Malir Anwar said that the investigation wasunderway and it would be before time to say anything.

The father of the minor child said that no incident of sexual assaultoccurred, adding that he don’t even know why people turned violent as heonly went to school to register complaint.

On the other hand, Director Schools Mansoob Siddiqui said that the watchmanheld minor girl’s hand to which the father of the girl told the arearesidents who turned violent.
