HANGU: Two terrorists were killed in a drone strike in Orakzai Agency onWednesday morning.
According to officials of the political administration of the tribalagency, two terrorists were killed when a US drone targeted their hideoutin Dapa Mamozai area of Orakzai Agency.
Reports said the drone targeted a hideout of the Haqqani Network and thosekilled were associated with the terrorist outfit.
Last month, a U.S. drone strike near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border killedtwo people, according to sources.
The drone fired missile on a vehicle in the bordering area of Afghanistan,killing two people sources said. However, it was not clear as to who weretargeted in the drone attack.
On October 20, at least 12 suspected militants were reportedly killed in adrone strike in Afghanistan’s Paktia province.
According to sources, a suspected United States (US) drone fired sixmissiles, killing 12 militants.
In the same month, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar chief Umar Khalid Khorasani along withnine of his associates, was killed in a drone attack in Paktia province.
