Afghan intelligence level new allegations against Pakistan in Kabul Hotel attack

*KABUL – Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday announcedthat initial investigations show that the explosives used by Talibaninsurgents in the attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul on Saturdaycame from Pakistan. *

The NDS also recovered the vehicle that attackers used to enter the hotelcompound.

“The explosive materials seized in the vehicle shows that the material ismade in Pakistan,” said the NDS in a press release.

According to the NDS statement, the explosive chemical used by theinsurgents was produced by a company in Islamabad called Biafo IndustriesLimited.

According to Biafo’s website, the company is a modern state of the artexplosive manufacturing company. Saturday’s deadly attack left at least 43 people dead and many more wounded.

However, government has only confirmed the death of 29 people so far.
