KABUL – At*least two Afghan National Army (ANA) force members were killedand three others wounded after a group of Taliban militants attacked theiroutpost in Sar-e-Pul province, an army official said.*

The wounded soldiers were taken to a military facility and they are in goodhealth condition, said Mohammad Hanif Rezaee, a spokesman for Shaheen 209Military Corps in Balkh province.

Meanwhile, he said that 14 Taliban militants were killed in the Air Forceairstrikes in Sheram village in Sar-e-Pul province.

Reports indicate that Taliban has taken few military vehicles withthem following the attack. However, Rezaee rejected such reports.

He said Taliban has escaped from the area following the clashes.

Taliban has not commented on the report so far.
