LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan hit out atPunjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif over praiseworthy remarks for Chief ofArmy Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

“The sudden praise of army chief by the Punjab chief minister looks like arequest for job that that of praise,” Imran said in a tweet.

The statement came a day after Shehbaz Sharif said that in a meeting he hadhad with the army chief, he had found him to be professional and straightforward.

“We must respect and honour the efforts the army chief is making,” thechief minister had said while talking to the media after visiting thePakistan Kidney and Liver Institute in Lahore on Wednesday.
