LAHORE – Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif has come out openlyin support of Army Chief General Qamar Javiad Bajwa.
He has said that the Army Chief should be supported in his actions as themilitary is making great sacrifices for Pakistan.
Talking to media, he said that he has met the Army Chief and found himstraight-forward person. He said that we should all work together for thesecurity of Pakistan.
About the corruption allegations, he remarked that talk of corruption inmetro projects is complete hogwash. He said that he respects NAB andappears whenever it summons and it should act indiscriminately againsteveryone.
He promised to change KPK and Sindh if given chance like Punjab. Heregretted speculations on his visit to London. He said he had come downwith severe influenza.
