*ISLAMABAD: Balochistan government spokesman Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakarannounced that a new political party would be formed in two to three days.*

“God willing, we will launch the party in two to three days. We willinitially set up an interim council and summon a meeting of general councilto elect our representatives,” Kakar said.

“Inshaullah, you will see democratic practices in our party. We are goingto finalize the name of our party by Tuesday morning. Muttahida MuslimLeague and Balochistan Progressive Party are among four names which areunder consideration,” he said.

To a question, Kakar said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s recentremarks about Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani reflected the political demiseof a party.

“Sadiq Sanjrani was first elected as a senator through the votes ofBalochistan lawmakers and then obtained 57 votes to become the Senate’sChairman democratically,” he said.
