KABUL – In startling revelations made on Tuesday, number of Aghan MPs havealleged that suicide bombers and terrorists are transported to Kabul inblack tinted cars.
A *number of members of parliament on Monday asked interior minister WaisAhmad Barmak to reveal names of those MPs and senators who back themovements of black-tinted cars in the country, especially in Kabul*, TOLONews has reported.
Barmak on Sunday in senate said, a number of insurgents enter Kabul city invehicles which have black glass and bullet-proof windows, and that a numberof MPs and senate support their movement in the city.
A number of members of parliament on Monday reacted to Barmak’s remarksasking him to disclose the names of those MPs who support the movement ofblack-tinted cars and the people who use them.
“You cannot exonerate yourself by saying this MP and that MP does this, wedo not accept this. You should clearly name the persons responsible. Youshould say that a parliament speaker has a black-tinted car and transfers asuicide bomber. You should have the courage to say it,” parliament speakerAbdul Rauf Ibrahimi said.
“Your intelligence should reveal the names of those who have black-tintedcars and Afghan people should know them. You should not damage everyone’sreputation,” MP Qudratullah Zaki said.
Barmak had said, “Suicide bombers are transferred through theseblack-tinted and armored cars. You know to whom these cars belong and chiefof the National Directorate of Security also knows it.”
Some MPs said if Barmak cannot reveal the names of these people, he shouldstep down from his seat as interior minister.
