SRINAGAR – Four Kashmiri youth were martyred on Tuesday by Indian Army in afake encounter in a forest area of Pulwama district in occupied Jammu andKashmir.

Security forces launched an anti-militancy operation in Laam forest of Tralarea in Pulwama district following information, Indian media Reports.

A gunbattle broke out between militants and security forces when the ultrasopened fire.

Two security force personnel — an Army soldier and a policeman — werekilled in the encounter while the operation is still in progress.

“All three youth were martyred by joint team of SF,” said Director Generalof Police (DGP) SP Vaid.

Later, in another tweet, he said one more youth killed taking the total to4. Well done boys.

The slain security force personnel have been identified as Sepoy Ajay andConstable Lateed Gujri.
