BEIJING – Defence Minister, Engr Khurram Dastgir Khan attended the meetingof the defence ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)member countries in Beijing.

Khurram Dastgir also held meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe.During the meeting Chinese defence minister said that China supportedPakistan’s stance over the longstanding Kashmir issue, which was pendingunresolved for the last 70 years.

Wei Fenghe also acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan armedforces and people of Pakistan in the war against terrorism.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif attended meeting of the foreignministers of the SCO member countries. He also called on Chinese ForeignMinister Wang Yi.
