LAHORE – Ameer Jamaat ud Dawa (JuD) Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has expressed thatthe militant organisation ISIS was a lethal weapon of the United Stateswhich was being used against the Muslims across the world.
Talking to newsmen at a meetup in the city, Saeed observed that mediafranchises should apprise public of the growing sensitivity of the matterregarding the nefarious designs of US and the duties it assigned to ISIS inwar-battered Afghanistan.
The JuD supremo also shared that Pakistan’s geographical location demandedit to cement ties with China and Russia as the Trump administrationwas levelling misplaced allegations against Pakistan for its defeat inAfghanistan.
Saeed also cast apprehensions that the global powers were targetingPakistan as they were unable to digest strong Pakistan in any way, addingthat Pakistan should protect its national interests.
Claiming that Pakistan was facing a grave threat to its security andgeographical integrity, Saeed called for national integration and unity.
Although US denies providing succour to the ISIS, certain internationalleaders have also cast doubts about Washington’s support to the militantgroup.
Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai had in April, last year, declared ISISas a tool of United states.
In another interview, Karzai went a mile more and claimed that US wasproviding arms to ISIS.
“The US Army helicopters and army bases are being used to provideassistance to ISIS terrorists,” he said while echoing Russian claims ofAmerican support to the ISIS terrorists.
What adds weight to the assertions is the release of e-mails by globalwhistleblower WikiLeaks, suggesting almost the same.
In a leaked email sent on August 17, 2014 by Hillary Clinton to herpresidential campaign manager, John Podesta, who was a counsellor to BarackObama at the time, admitted that Qatar and Saudi Arabia ‘were providingclandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunnigroups in the region’.
Interestingly, Saudi-Arabia and Qatar were major donors to the ClintonFoundation, thus posing a serious question mark to the practices of UnitedStates.
Furthermore, the United States allegedly warned ISIS of pending attacks andallegedly gave them safe passage from Mosul, Iraq into Syria in order tofuel the Arab Spring protests and to ouster Bashar Al Assad.
Moreover, Wikileaks’ Julian Assange provided historical context for howthe ‘CIA created ISIS’ in November 2016, arguing that the organisation wasgrowing under the influence of Washington.
