Nawaz Sharif lands into trouble as multiple applications submitted across Pakistan for registration of case against him

LAHORE – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lands into serious trouble asapplications have been submitted across Pakistan for registration of caseagainst him over Mumbai attacks statement.

Applications for registration of case against former prime minister NawazSharif have been submitted with police in nine cities of Pakistan over hiscontroversial interview in which he said that those who attacked a hotel inMumbai in 2008 hailed from Pakistan.

The applications were submitted in police stations of Gujranwala,Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Mianwali, Vehari, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Narowal andZafarwal on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

The applications have taken a stance that the interview of former promeminister has hurt the sentiments of Pakistanis and a case should be filedagainst him in this regard.

They further said in their applications that the former prime minister tookoath of allegiance with Pakistan three times, but he betrayed his owncountry. He should be punished by registering a case against him.
