KABUL – *Over 100 government forces are missing following the collapse ofTala Wa Barfak district in Baghlan province, head of Baghlan ProvincialCouncil Mohammad Safdar Mohseni said. *
Some key officials including district governor of Tala Wa Barfak anddistrict police chief are also missing following the militants attack onthe area, Mohseni added, TOLO News has reported.
He said some government forces vehicles have been seized by the Talibanfollowing the clashes.
He added that at least six soldiers were killed and 13 others were arrestedby the Taliban during the fighting.
Tala Wa Barfak is deemed a key district in Baghlan which shares a borderwith Bamiyan and Parwan provinces.
Taliban has claimed that the group has captured the district on Tuesdayafternoon.
