KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate in Multan, RanaIqbal Siraj, denied the circumstances of the incident that happened at hiswarehouse. Siraj, in a video message on Saturday night, stated that theincident was a result of a misunderstanding.
Siraj clarified in the video message that people from Irrigation Departmenthad visited him at the warehouse.
On Saturday, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif said that the party candidatescontesting in general elections were allegedly threatened. Referring toSiraj, Nawaz said that he was slapped and threatened with terribleconsequences.
Sharif stated that all the cannons are pointed at PML-N, he warned, suchacts would be harmful to the country.
PML-N leader demanded interim Prime Minister (PM) Nasirul Mulk and chiefelection commissioner Justice (retd) Sardar Raza Khan to take notice ofsuch incidents.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz also said that PML-N members were being targetted.
