ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Muslim League (N) Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that his party will contest the general election on basis of its performance in previous tenure.
In an interview with a private channel tonight, he expressed the hope that the election will be free, fair and transparent.
He said that he has already started his campaign from the Karachi and will contact the people appealing to vote PML-N to ensure the sanctity of their votes.
He said that all political parties should learn a lesson from their mistakes and should united to ensure democratic process in the country.
Replying a question about candidate for next Prime Minister, he said that the party has chosen him for premiership if the party won the elections. APP
