SRINAGAR – Indian military Nine security personnel, including five CRPFjawans, were badly hit in a militant attack in the Tral area of occupiedJammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district today, police said, Hindustan Timeshas reported.

Militants lobbed grenade and opened fire on the personnel from a crowd whenthey were busy with law and order duties on Tral road, a police spokesmansaid.

He said nine security personnel – five CRPF jawans and four cops – wereinjured in the attack.

Security forces’ hit back after being attacked, the spokesman said.

He said the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
