LAHORE – *PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said that the ECP hasn’t announcedofficial or unofficial results of elections in Lahore even 5 hours afterpolling ended.*

He claimed that his candidates were not given Form-45. “I haven’t seen sucha dangerous situation in my whole political career.”

“The party candidates have complained that their polling agents wereremoved from polling stations,” he claimed.

“It is an insult to mandate of millions of people,” Mr. Sharif said. “It isunacceptable.”

The PML-N President said blatant violations of electoral laws were reportedfrom all over the country and we won’t accept them.

“We reject the results,” he said. “We can’t accept the result.”

Mr. Sharif said he has convened a meeting of PML-N core committee tomorrowand they would finalize party’s strategy to record its protest overirregularities in the elections.

“Other parties have also expressed similar concerns,” he added, saying thathe would contact them and make a united front to get their grievancesaddressed.

“It is rigging,” Mr. Sharif said, refusing to accept the outcome of theelections.

According to initial results, Imran Khan’s PTI has emerged as the largestpolitical party in the parliament.

“It is the dirtiest elections in the history of Pakistan,” said anotherleader Mushahid Hussain Syed.

“Our all the polling agents were removed from polling stations, settingaside its own laws.”

He said the media was also stopped from covering the elections. “It was alldecided.”

Mariyum Aurangzeb said: “the PML-N categorically rejects the electionresults.” She said the authorities didn’t provide them form-45.

“It’s an attempt to steal people’s mandate.”
