LAHORE – Punjab Provincial law minister Zia Haider Rizvi has hit outagainst Shahbaz Sharif over his baseless allegations and has said that theadministration is adhering to law and ECP’s code of conduct.
Rizvi said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president shouldrefrain from levelling allegations against the interim government in Punjab.
“The reality is completely different from what Shehbaz Sharif claims. Weare being provoked into revealing things…. but we won’t.”
“All parties are equal and we’re looking into the situation under the ruleof law. It is not our mandate to level allegations or they’ll complain,” headded.
Denying the alleged maltreatment of Nawaz Sharif in Adiala jail, theinterim law minister said the former prime minister is being providedfacilities as per his privileges.
