ISLAMABAD – Caretaker Minister for Information and Law Barrister Ali Zafaris likely to attend former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’sfuneral in New Dehli.

Former India prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday passed away inNew Delhi at the age of 93.

Earlier it was reported that the former Indian PM had been admitted tothe All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in criticalcondition. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders visited AIIMS him inthe morning after the news broke out.

According to a health update released by the hospital, the former premierhad been placed on life support.
