RAWALPINDI – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed is reportedlyangry with Prime Minister designate Imran Khan for not being assured overministry of interior.
Sources revealed that Sheikh Rasheed had expressed his desire to becomeminister for interior but the PTI chairman didn’t give him a green signalthe desired ministry but offered the AML chief any other ministry afterwhich he got angry.
Sources said that former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Pervaiz Khattak is a strongcandidate for the interior ministry slot.
Shafqat Mahmood also desires to serve as interior minister, however, ImranKhan will take final decision pertaining to ministry.
