Captain (R) Safdar latest medical report revealed by PIMS medical board

ISLAMABAD – Captain (R) Safdar has been declared fit by the latest medicalboard of the PIMS hospital in Islamabad.

A five-member medical board on Sunday, declared all the medical reports ofson-in-law of ousted premier Nawaz Sharif Captain (r) Mohammad Safdar clear.

However, Capt (retd.) Safdar will be kept in Pakistan Institute of MedicalSciences (PIMS) hospital, for more two days as the reports highlighted somecomplications.

Earlier, doctors said that Safdar’s sugar level is high while his stomachand other tests have been sent to laboratory.

Doctors said that Safdar has not eaten the food sent from home and is onlydrinking water due to dried throat. Safdar underwent X-ray/ultraviolet (UV)and ultrasound along with tests of stomach, sugar and blood pressure.

On Thursday, Safdar was shifted to PIMS hospital as his health deterioratedin Adiala Jail. Stern security arrangements were made around premises ofthe hospital to avoid any untoward situation.

The hospital’s private ward in Cardiac Centre, where Safdar is beingtreated, has been declared a sub-jail by the chief commissioner IslamabadCapital Territory, until the duration of his stay there.

He is suffering from stomach ulcers and doctors have performed twooperations on his stomach.
