LAHORE – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to sit on theopposition benches in Punjab and the Centre.
The decision was made during a meeting of central executive committee atModel Town on Monday.
The meeting also decided to consult other parties for the opposition leader.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan said thatthe PTI is making false promises of making independent lawmakers-electministers and advisers.
PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the meeting had stronglycondemned the Chilas incident.
She said termed Imran Khan’s mandate fake and rigged. “The PML-N will makeall facts public.”
She said that the PML-N with other parties will continue struggle. “Themandate was stolen in the elections. Incompetence and shortcomings of theElection Commission of Pakistan (ECP) were exposed,” he said.
Marryium Aurangzeb said that the press freedom has been suppressed.
Meanwhile, Rana Liaquat Ali, an independent candidate elected from Sialkot,called on PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif and announced to join the party.
