ISLAMABAD – The establishment division has issued new instructions torevise the working hours of federal government employees as per thedecision of the federal government.
According to details, the new office timing i.e. 9am-5pm will be applicablewith immediate effect.
It is pertinent to mention here that the federal cabinet on Friday rejecteda summary seeking to increasing working days to sixlinkgovernment offices.
It was decided that the weekly holiday on Saturday would remain in placebut working hours would be from 9am to 5pm.
However; the span of working hours will remain same. The previous timingwas 8am-4pm.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also ordered to keep the doors in alldepartments open for the litigants and made it clear that now thedepartments will have to work according to merit.
