ISLAMABAD – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Ministerof Pakistan Imran Khan in his office today.

Both have expressed the resolve to continue efforts for enduring peace inthe country.

This resolve was expressed during a meeting between them in Islamabad onMonday. They reiterated their determination for lasting peace and stabilityin the country.

Both the leaders also exchanged views on overall security situation in theregion.

Earlier today, COAS General Bajwa also conveyed condolence to familylinkdeceased United States Senator John McCain.

According to ISPR, in a condolence message to bereaved family, he said thatMcCain was a distinguished war veteran and an accomplished representativeof his country.
