ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal has saidPakistan looks forward to a mutually beneficial and uninterrupted dialoguewith India to resolve all issues.

In response to a query regarding the controversy being unnecessarilycreated by sections of the Indian media, he said Foreign Minister ShahMehmood Qureshi had not stated that the Indian Prime Minister has made anoffer of a dialogue.

He said the Foreign Minister had said that the Indian Prime Minister in hisletter to Prime Minister Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, had also mentionedsomething similar to what he elucidated earlier that the way forward isonly through constructive engagement.

The Spokesperson said any attempts to instigate controversy and vitiate theenvironment are counter-productive and against the spirit of responsiblejournalism.
