TEHRAN – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has sent a special message to thenewly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

He extended his sincere congratulations to Imran Khan on his election asnew Prime Minister of Pakistan and expressed hope that the two countrieswould further improve relations during his tenure.

In his congratulatory message to the Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said theIslamic Republic of Iran, as always and particularly during the new era,expresses its readiness to expand relations and cooperation with theIslamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Iranian President said that Imran Khan’s election was the result ofwillpower of the brave Pakistani nation.
