MOSCOW *- A Russian media wrote that five countries of Afghanistan, Iran,India, China and Russia agreed to establish a joint database to deal withthe threats of the terrorist groups.*
According to Business Standard, a spokesman for the Russian SecurityCouncil said the issue of creating a joint database raised byrepresentatives of China, Iran, Afghanistan, India and Russia in themultilateral conference of ‘Dialogue of regional security’ in Tehran.
According to Avenchi Onshin, a database of terrorist groups has alreadybeen created in the Federal Security Service of Russia, but theparticipants agreed to establish a joint general database.
According to the spokesman of the Russian National Security Council, attoday’s Tehran conference, in addition, representatives of other countrieswelcomed and supported the Iranian initiative to create a new mechanism atthe level of the Security Council ministers.
The first meeting of secretaries and national security advisors hosted byAli Shamkhani, secretary of National Security Council of Iran, at AzadiHotel in Tehran, was launched today as a ‘Regional Security Dialogue.’
