*DUBAI – Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has been fined by the InternationalCricket Council in the match against Afghanistan.*
*The Intentional Cricket Control (ICC) has fined Pakistan fast bowler HasanAli, and Afghanistan’s Asghar Afghan and Rashid Khan.*
*All three have been fined 15 per cent of their match fees for breachingits code of conduct uring their Super-Four match in the Asia Cup in AbuDhabi on Friday.*
According to global governing body of cricket, the players have alsoreceived one demerit point each for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code ofConduct in separate incidents.
“Hasan and Asghar were found guilty of breaching Article 2.1.1 of the ICCCode of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to“conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game”, while Rashid wasfound to have violated Article 2.1.7, which deals with “using language,actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressivereaction from a batsman upon his/her dismissal during an InternationalMatch, ” said a statement.
It said the incident involving Hasan happened in the 33rd over ofAfghanistan’s innings when he threatened to throw the ball towards strikerHashmatullah Shahidi after fielding off his own bowling.
