KABUL – Afghan officials have declared that they are ready to meet withrepresentatives of Taliban in Moscow meeting, TOLO News has reported.
Russia’s Special Presidential Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov has saidthe Afghan officials confirmed that work is ongoing on the content ofMoscow meeting, Russia’s Tass News Agency reported quoting Izvestianewspaper.
According to Kabulov, he talked with Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister NasirAhmad Andisha and Andisha said Moscow conference composition is now beingput together.
Kabulov said now the critical thing about Moscow meeting is not the datebut is the content that should be put together.
“Kabul is determined to participate in Moscow-hosted meeting. Now we are inthe process of developing modalities for this participation. Currently, themain thing is not the date, but the content, so this is the part that weare working on,” Kabulov said as quoted by Izvestia.
