SANAA – Yemeni armed forces have fired a ballistic missile at a gatheringin Saudi Arabia’s southern border region of Najran, a report says.
Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network, citing an unnamedmilitary official from the missile unit of the Yemeni army, reported thatthe gathering had been hit with a short-range Badr-1 missile on Thursdaymorning, adding that the projectile had struck the designated target withprecision.
The official also said that the missile strike had inflicted heavy humanand material damage.

The report added that two other missiles of the same type also hitgatherings of Saudi-led forces in Yemen’s central province of Ma’rib onlate Tuesday.
