US Top General in Afghanistan remained unwounded in the armed attack

KABUL – US General Austin S Miller, the commander of the American forces inAfghanistan has reminded unhurt at the shooting incident in Afghanistan.

Kandahar Police Chief General Abdul Raziq was killed in the attack.

Kandahar Governor Zalmai Wesa, the provincial intelligence chief andothers were present in the meeting.

There were conflicting reports about the fate of Kandahar governor, and theprovincial chief of intelligence. Some officials suggested both had beenkilled, while others said that the governor is just wounded.

Local news website, Tolo News, reported that the attack was initiated byone of Wesa’s guards.

The US military said that General Miller remained unwounded, while twoAmericans were injured. The casualties are expected to rise.
