SRINAGAR – A shutter down strike is being observed in the occupied Kashmiragainst the conduct of so called local government (LG) elections in theregion.
The draconian Indian administration has imposed curfew in several parts ofthe valley and house arrested Hurriyat leaders in a bid to stopdemonstrations.
Additional contingent of Indian troops have been deployed in the occupiedland.
It is pertinent to mention that Sikh community has also announced toboycott local government elections.
