ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and China historic bus service was set to be formallylaunched on November 3rd.
Owing to the ongoing security situation in the country, launch has beendelayed.
A private Pakistani transport company, North-South Transport Network (Pvt)Limited, recently announced to launch a bus service from Lahore to theChinese city of Kashgar.
According to the officials of the transport company the service wasscheduled to launch from Nov 3 and bookings had also been made, however,owing to the current security situation, its launch has been postponed tillNovember 5.
The bus service will travel between Lahore and Tashkurgan in China with atwo-way ticket priced at Rs23,000.
Passengers will be required to have a valid visa, passport, CNIC and returnticket in order to make the trip.
