ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said thatShehbaz Sharif’s wife Tehmina Durrani was playing her role to get NationalReconciliation Ordinance (NRO) for her husband and predicted that all thecorrupt elements including politicians would be behind the bars by March2019.
The former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was looking for NationalReconciliation Ordinance (NRO) for his daughter Maryam Nawaz, but PakistanPeoples Party Parliamentarian’s President Asif Ali Zardari was notinterested in any similar accord for Bilawal Bhutto rather using him(Bilawal) as a scapegoat, the minister said talking to a news channel.
Sheikh Rashid said Imran Khan was the only person fighting againstcorruption and the whole nation was supporting and appreciating him for thecause. He said Imran Khan took stand on Panama case and lead it to thelogical end.
The minister said Pakistan Railways was facing several problems but thegovernment was committed to improve its performance in order to make it aprofitable entity. “Pakistan Railways launched 20 new passenger trainsacross the country by its own resources without purchasing new bogies orlocomotives,” he added.
In order to provide maximum traveling facilities to passengers, he said,railways would launch 25 more new trains on different routes across thecountry soon.

Replying to a question, he said Pakistan Railways was facing severalproblems but the present government was committed to improve theperformance of the organization and make it a profitable entity. “PakistanRailways launched 20 passenger trains across the country by its ownresources without purchasing new bogies or locomotives,” he added.
Responding to another question regarding traveling facilities to thepassengers, he said Pakistan Railways would launch more 25 new trains ondifferent routes across the country soon.
