In India, tens of thousands women have protested in support of court order overturning ban on women’s entry into Sabarimala temple in Kerala state.
The protesting women formed a 620km human chain in support of a court order.
The “Women’s Wall” rally was backed by the communist government of the state, where the court order on the Sabarimala temple had triggered weeks of protests by opponents and supporters of the ban.
