*KARACHI – Port Qasim Authorities have made historic record in terms ofRevenue collection.*
*Collectorate of Customs Port Qasim has witnessed record revenue collectionin six months.*
Port Qasim sources said within the last six months 89 billion rupeescustoms duty has been submitted to the public exchequer, which is more than25 percent of the revenue earned in 2017. This earning is big chunk of theFederal Board of Revenue’s taxation, they added.

Port Qasim’s sales tax revenue also saw seven percent spike in comparisonto the last year’s earning.
Earlier, Port Qasim collected Rs15 billions customs duty in November 2018,which shows remarkable 18.64% growth against collection of Rs12.71 billionsin the corresponding month of last year.
