ISLAMABAD – Local and foreign media representatives on Sunday visitedPeshawar, Miranshah, and Ghulam Khan Border terminals along with DirectorGeneral ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor for the first time after militaryoperations.

It was the first direct interaction of the media with local people, whowhile standing in Miranshah Bazar, talked to reporters about improved peacesituation and administrative issues in the area.

They lauded Pakistan Army for its efforts in restoring peace anddevelopment.

The media representatives appreciated security forces for undertaking thedifficult task of fencing country’s border with Afghanistan.

People of the area were happy to see media among them and they also tookselfies with DG ISPR as the peaceful North Waziristan is on the pathdevelopment and progress.

The journalists also met with Commander Peshawar Crops and General OfficerCommanding North Waziristan.
