ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan saysgovernment has completed its homework to review LNG agreement with Qatar.
In an informal talk with media in Islamabad, the Minister said LNGagreements cannot be terminated but can be reviewed after a period of tenyears.
He said talks will be held with Qatari authorities in this regard duringvisit of the Prime Minister to the Gulf country.
The Minister said efforts will be made to seek maximum relief from Qatar byasking them to reduce the price of gas. He said government will facilitateprivate sector if it wants to import LNG.
