*RAWALPINDI – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday lauded the role of West Indiesall-rounder and Peshawar Zalmi captain Daren Sammy’s role to bring backinternational cricket in Pakistan.*

Darren Sammy met with ISPR DG Major Gen Asif Ghafoor.

During the meeting, the DG ISPR lauded the cricket star’s role forpromotion of cricket in Pakistan.

“You have a lot of love for Pakistan and Pakistan’s people too love youvery much especially for promoting cricket in Pakistan,” the *ISPR*linkgeneral said while admiring to Sammy.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said international cricket was not takingplace in Pakistan in the past but the country now would see internationalteams playing here because of the confidence instilled by the cricketer’svisits to the country.
