ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army retired Brigadier committed suicide, Policesources have revealed.
Former member state Capital Development Authority (CDA), Brigadier (retd)Asad Munir, has committed suicide, police sources said on Friday.
Munir’s body was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his apartment inIslamabad’s diplomatic enclave, the police sources said.
He was also the former director of intelligence agency Peshawar.
Munir was upset over media reports that ran a day earlier stating that theNational Accountability Bureau (NAB) during its executive board meeting hadgranted approval for the filing of a reference against him, family sourcessaid.
NAB had accused Munir of misusing his authority and restoring a plot inF-11 area of the federal capital.
