KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force joins the elite club of super power militaryforces having day and night indigenous built long range smart missilescapability.

PAF on Tuesday successfully test-fired an indigenously-developed,long-range missile from its multi-role fighter JF-17 Thunder, it said in apress statement.

The PAF said the achievement of this milestone was an evidence of thecapabilities of Pakistani scientists and engineers, who have armed JF-17Thunder with this indigenously-developed missile.

The statement said with the successful test, the fighter jet has achievedthe capability to precisely hit the target during the day and night times.

While appreciating the efforts of scientists and engineers, PAF Chief AirChief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan congratulated the air force on this greatachievement.

He said Pakistan is a peace-loving country, however, it would fully respondto any aggression by the enemy.
