Humiliated India requests You Tube to remove 11 embarrassing videos of captured IAF Pilot Abhinandan

NEW DELHI – In order to overcome huge embarrassing situation India hasrequested You Tube to remove the controversial videos of the captured IAFPilot.

The Indian IT Ministry has asked YouTube to remove 11 video linkspertaining to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was captured byPakistan during an air combat on Wednesday, according to sources.

The ministry had asked YouTube to remove the clips following directive fromthe Home Ministry, a government source said.

When contacted, a Google (which runs YouTube) spokesperson said the companycomplies with “valid legal requests from authorities wherever possible,consistent with our longstanding policy and act quickly to remove suchmaterial”.

“Data on government requests to remove content from Google services isregularly updated in our transparency report,” the spokesperson added.

Pakistan held Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman Wednesday after fighterjets of both the nations engaged in an air battle.

Videos of the captured Indian Air Force pilot were being released on theinternet and netizens shared these videos across social media platformslike Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook. Hashtags like #BringbackAbhinandan,#SayNoToWar were trending as netizens from both the sides of border turnedto social media to express their views.
