Diplomatic pressure and tough message from India forced Pakistan to release IAF pilot, claims shameless Indian media

NEW DELHI – Diplomatic pressure from India and the strong message thatIndia sent out to Pakistan after Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman hasresulted in to release of IAF Pilot, claimed disgruntled Indian media.

He was taken into custody by forces across the LoC on Wednesday. A daylater, Imran Khan announced that the IAF pilot will be released on Fridayin what he termed was his country’s ‘peace gesture.’

His announcement though cannot hide India’s firm and direct resolve tobring back the IAF pilot, Zee News has reported.

India had strongly condemned the display of the injured pilot on Wednesdayand said it was a violation of the Geneva Convention. Pakistan had alsobeen warned to hand back Wing Commander Varthaman. S

Meanwhile, New Delhi had also mobilised the world community with theMinistry of External Affairs briefing 10 diplomats to apprise them of theIndo-Pak situation and the status of the IAF pilot.

Signs that Pakistan was under pressure began showing when the country’sforeign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said earlier in the day on Thursdaythat the IAF pilot could be released if it assures peace with India.
