ISLAMABAD -Federal government gives final deadline to government employeesover issuance of new passports.
Government officers, who concealed their official occupation on theirpassports, have been directed to get new passports made with correctinformation within three months.
The Directorate General Immigration and Passport has directed allgovernment officers and employees to get new passports in light of thefederal cabinet’s recent decision.
All such government employees are advised to approach passport offices,along with an NOC and recommendations of their respective departments toget their passport data rectified and a fresh passport issued, modifyingtheir profession as government service, a press statement issued by theinformation department reads.
